Introduction

The 350 Acoustic Fixture is a cost effective acoustic interface for production handset testing. The Fixture has a sealed artificial ear for repeatable measurement of the telephone receiver. The feedback microphone and regulation system in the artificial mouth regulates the output level and compensates for environmental changes such as temperature and humidity.

Features
   Rugged Cast Acoustic Fixture
Integrated regulation electronics and feedback microphone
   Adjustable handset positioning post
Line level audio in and audio out
   Simple calibration procedure
   Easy to operate clamping mechanism

Rubber Ear Seal
The 350 Acoustic Fixture has a moulded artificial ear seal that provides both the sealing surface to the telephone receiver, and a volume of air such that the frequency response is similar to that of a 6 cc Artificial Ear.

Adjustable Clamping Mechanism
The 350 Acoustic Fixture can be adjusted to properly hold handsets of different sizes. The Acoustic Fixture has a removable pivot pin on the clamping arm. The pivot pin can be placed in one of the two locating holes to adjust for the handset being tested.

Adjustable Locating Posts
The 350 Acoustic Fixture has a removable ring around the artificial ear that provides
adjustable locating posts to repeatably position the handset during the test. These posts
can be adjusted for the handset under test so that transmitter (microphone) of the
telephone handset is located in the LRGRP position.
