Many customers have asked, "I need to test the acoustic performance of my IP phone to ANSI/TIA-810-B and TIA-920 requirements. How do I know my IP Phone will work on your IP-II Phone Test System?"

Microtronix offers a User Agent software tool. This software uses the same signalling and media transport as the IP-II Phone Test System. This software allows a call to be placed to the terminal and opens an audio channel. This gives confidence that your IP phone will function with the IP-II Phone Test System.

User Agent packages

Microtronix offers two simple to use software packages. They are:

  • For SIP - SIPUA1
  • For H.323 - H323UA1

 

Easy to use

The User Agent software is simple and easy to use. The User Agent software can be installed on Windows 7, Vista, XP (SP3) platforms. Enter the IP address or the host name of the phone in the ‘Destination’ box and click CALL or press ENTER. It is just that simple!

What if the phone does not connect?

The Microtronix User Agent software can create a log file of a call. This file can be sent to Microtronix for analysis. We can provide you with our expert opinion on the reason(s) for difficulty in establishing a call or transporting the audio.
